Affective states such as personality traits, attitudes, moods, and emotions play a crucial role in people’s everyday performance at work. As software systems are designed and used by human beings which can be characterised by emotions, the aim of Affective Computing is to study the development of software systems and devices that can recognise, interpret, process, and exploit human affects, feelings, emotion, attitudes and personalities.
First International Workshop on Affective Computing for Requirements Engineering aims at creating an international, sustainable community where researchers and practitioners interested in the role of affect in requirements engineering can meet, present, and discuss their work-in-progress. Read more!
